Daily Maintenance Methods for Solid Wood Multilayer Board

Solid wood multilayer boards require careful maintenance compared to other materials. It is important to take good care of them and prevent water, heat, and sunlight damage. As the resources for solid wood multilayer boards become scarcer and their prices continue to rise, they are prone to deformation due to factors. Therefore, attention should be paid to their maintenance during daily use.

1. Do not place sharp or heavy objects directly on the surface to avoid scratching or damaging the top layer of the solid wood multilayer board, which could shorten its lifespan. When placing heavy objects, try to place them to one side, allowing the other side of the board to move freely to prevent warping.

2. Corrosive liquids, strong acids, or alkaline substances, such as toilet cleaners and kitchen degreasers, should not be used. High-temperature liquids or objects should not be placed directly on the solid wood multilayer board to avoid damaging the top layer.

3. When cleaning with a damp cloth, avoid excessive humidity to prevent increasing the humidity of the solid wood multi-layer board.

4. In relatively dry seasons, adding some humidity can help maintain the moisture in the air and prevent the solid wood multi-layer board from cracking due to excessive dryness. A relative humidity level between 40% to 70% is considered normal.

5. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight to prevent overheating or accelerated oxidation
